HUBERT  -  Cordell Saber Couillard, 23, of Hubert, passed away Friday, June 21,2025 at his home.  A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Ascension Lutheran Church, 2014 Gum Branch Road, Jacksonville, NC.

Cordell was born June 22,2002 in New Bern.  He was a student of culinary science and a line cook at Il Cigno in Swansboro.  He loved food and spending time with his family and friends. Cordell was passionate about music.  He was a talented bass guitarist, loved going to live shows and was rarely seen without a band t-shirt on.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Jeanette Couillard..

Survivors include his parents, Robert and Leanne Despres Couillard of Hubert; his brothers, Dustin Couillard of Brooklyn, NY, Casey Couillard of Chapel Hill, and his twin, Tanner Couillard of the home; maternal grandparents, Claude and Nancy Despres of Griswold, CT; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon, prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 PM at the church.
