SNEADS FERRY - Shelton Craig Jenkins, 68, of Sneads Ferry, died Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 28, 2026 at the New River Community Church with Pastor Steve Allen and Gene Ennett officiating. Burial will follow at the Wiley Field.

Mr. Jenkins was the son of the late Vera Lee Wilt and Owen Earl (O.E.) Jenkins, Jr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Derek Jenkins; sister, Connie Moody; and his brother, Drake Jenkins.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Jenkins; his son, Dwight Barham; and his sister, Scotty Jenkins Everett.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 – 8 PM at Jones Funeral Home, Holly Ridge Chapel.
