JACKSONVILLE -  Cynthia Annette Hellier, 56, of Jacksonville, died Saturday, June 7, 2025, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.  Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel.  Burial will follow at Onslow Memorial Park.

She was born July 16, 1968, in Greensboro, NC to Mary Etta Hellier and Peter Hellier and had one brother, Peter Hellier, Jr. (Colin).

Cindy was educated in Onslow County Schools; she graduated from Swansboro High School in 1986.

After graduating High School Cindy worked at K-mart and Advance Auto Parts for many years.

She is survived by her loving father Peter; uncle, Vernon Harvell (Pam); aunt, Patti Knight (Larry); nephews, Sebastian Hellier, Johnathan Knight and Jacob Knight; nieces, Cirissa Gebbie, baby Bean, Joshua and Alley Collins.

She also leaves behind a devoted cousin, Willard E. Harvell, Jr. and a host of family and friends.

Cindy had a loving heart and was always willing to help others.

Her kind spirit will be missed by all who loved and cared for her.

The family will receive friends Saturday morning, prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
