Dale A. Haley, 86, of Jacksonville, NC died on January 30th, 2023 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Dale is preceded in death by his parents Lee A. and Anne S. Haley, his sisters Betty Woods and Rose Ellen Stratton and a brother Lee A. Haley Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years Linda B. Haley, daughter Lisa H. Brewer (Randy), and son David A. Haley (Donna) and his brother Lloyd S. Haley.

Dale was a retired United States Marine Corps veteran; serving 30 years and a Purple Heart recipient. He was a devoted husband, father and Christian. He was known for his sense of humor and practical jokes. He loved playing golf, working in his yard, Clemson Football and his cat Mongo.

Services will be held Monday, February 6th beginning with family visitation at Enon Chapel Baptist Church, 103 Barbara Avenue, Jacksonville, NC from 12:00-1:00 pm followed by a service at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at 2:00 pm at Coastal Carolina Veteran's State Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
