MAYSVILLE - Dannette Mae Gerry "Danni" Ferreby, 42, of Maysville, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Lower Cape Fear Life Care Center in Wilmington. Graveside funeral services, with military honors, will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.

Danni served her country in the United States Marine Corp and was a Heavy Equipment Mechanic with the US Department of Defense.

Survivors include her husband of 17 years, David Ferreby of the home; her daughter, Aurora Ferreby of the home; her parents, Gordon Gerry of Asheville and Linda Hiltner of Wall, South Dakota; her sister, Kady Gerry of Sacramento, CA; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening July 1, 2026, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel.
