Swansboro- David James Steen, 19, passed away September 28, 2017 at his home. He was born January 20, 1998 in Oceanside, CA.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday October 2, 2017 in the chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Swansboro with Rev. Mike Penry officiating.
David loved life and spending time in the water, you could never get him out of the ocean, he was a loving and energetic soul that always found the good and best in everything. He loved spending time with his family. He loved being behind the wheel and would drive anywhere with the most amazing personality.
He is survived by mother and step father, Kelley and Patrick Blas of Benson; father and step mother, James and Angel Steen of Swansboro; brother, Adam Steen and John Steen of Benson, James Steen, Jr. of Swansboro; sister, Isabelle Mercer of Benson; step sisters, Sadie Adams and Taylin Adams of Pearl River, LA; PopPop, David Steen (Sharon) of PA; Pops and Grandmother, Alfred and Rozella Pelton; and his special friend, Beanerz.
