Jacksonville – Dean Robert Beach Jr., 70, died Sunday, December 5, 2021 at the Camp Lejeune Naval Hospital in Jacksonville, NC.

The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, December 13, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville, NC.

Dean served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 23 years. He joined the Corps in 1969 at the age of 17. He served in Vietnam, Operation Eagle Claw and Dessert Storm. Her retired as a CWO4

Dean is preceded in death by his parents, Dean Beach Sr. and Alice Vigen Beach; and brother, Scott Beach.

Dean is survived by his wife of 50 years, Virginia "Ginny" Howe Beach; children, Erica Guay (Sylvain), Ryan Beach (April), and Tucker Beach (Stefaine); grandchildren, Jenny Muir (Michael), Conner Morse, Khiley Beach, Ryan Beach Jr., Clark Beach, Alice Beach, Layth Beach; great-grandchildren, Lucian Beach-Muir and Valkyrie Muir; siblings, Dale Beach (Jeanie), Linda Beach, and Eleanor Beach; and sister-in-law, Barbara Beach.
