Sgt. Dean Michael Sullivan of Jacksonville, NC passed peacefully into the arms of his Saviour on March 19, 2026, where he joined his beloved wife Lorraine, his parents, and a sister.  Dean was born in Hillsdale Michigan on September 10, 1950 and enlisted in the Marines after high school.  He served 10 years active duty during the Vietnam War. On return to Jacksonville, he served another 19 years in the Army National Guard.  Dean is survived by three brothers and their wives in Michigan.

Many thanks to his friends who have helped make his life special, especially Ray Shomari, Brian Redditt and his son-in-law, Jesse, and Peggy Conyers.

A graveside service with Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 10:00AM at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Gideons Int'l OR K9sforwarriors.org if you so choose.
