Dorothy Elizabeth Brown "Debbie" Whitney, 87, died Wednesday, July 6, 2011, at her home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at 2:00 pm, in the Casey, Halwig, Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 NYS Route 417, Olean, NY 14760. Burial will follow in the Allegany Cemetery.
Debbie was born in Olean, NY and was the daughter of the late Lynn and Frances Salisbury Brown. She was a Real Estate Agent, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by two sons, James "Scott" Whitney and his wife, Wendy of Tracy's Landing, MD and David L. Whitney and his wife, Clarice of Benbrook, TX; one daughter, Joanne Whitney Hill and her husband, James Earl of Maysville; nine grandchildren, Amy Rippey, James Brandon Whitney, Kristen Morris, Whitney Allen Davis, Kyle Fox Whitney, Alex Ross Whitney, Christi Lyn Hill, Shannon Hill Gibson, Brian Edward Hill;
and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends, on Saturday, July 9, 2011, at Jones Funeral Home, in Jacksonville from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm.
