JACKSONVILLE – Delores Jean Phelps Brill, 92, was born September 27,1932 and died on June 6, 2025.  Graveside funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville.

Ms. Brill was a mother who loved her family deeply. She chose to support and guide her family by becoming a full-time mother.   Later in life she lovingly and dutifully became the daytime caregiver for her grandchildren as well.  She was greatly loved by her husband Donald, daughter Debbi and son Greg.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Edward Brill; father and mother, Joseph Phelps and Frances Sweet; and  three sisters, Veeta Murphy, Velma Udry and Viola Phelps.

Survivors include one daughter, Debbi Shaw of Jacksonville; one son, Greg Brill of Jacksonville; and two grandchildren, Angela Brill and Bryan Shaw, both of Jacksonville.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, June 11? 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel.
