SCOTTSBORO, AL  -  Delores Conway Shelton, 68, passed away at home on July 12, 2025 with her family by her side. She was born April 14,1957 in Hubert, NC the eldest child of the late Ralph and Carol Conway.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home, Swansboro Chapel. After the service she will be laid to rest beside her loving husband, Ronny.

She was a devout Christian who's faith sustained her. She enjoyed the ocean, time on the beach collecting seashells, and always enjoyed being outside as much as possible. After the death of her husband Ronny she moved to Alabama to be closer to her grandchildren and loved to play with them and do puzzles. She was very nurturing and kind and loved her family dearly and they all loved her as well and were grateful for every day she spent with them.    She will be greatly missed. She was a blessing to everyone who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Shelton was preceded in death by her husband, Ronny Shelton.

She is survived by her son, Levi Shelton (Michelle) of AL; grandchildren, Hannah and Wade; and her siblings, Eunice Ice, Brenda DeWalt, and Wayne Conway.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
