RICHLANDS – Dennis Leo Jarman, 74, of Richlands, died Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at his home. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Jarman was a former writer and columnist for the Jacksonville Daily News and was proud to have authored two books. He also founded and operated a successful, local courier service named Got Deliveries.

He is survived by his wife, Pam Jarman of the home; his daughter, Dara Jarman Bailey and her husband, Brian; step-son, Dana Pittman; five grandchildren, Matthew Jarman and his wife, Lindsay, Livvie Bailey, Luke Bailey, Nathaniel Pittman and Anamaria Pittman; two great-grandchildren, Sofia and Siena Jarman; and numerous brothers and sisters.
