JACKSONVILLE  -  Dodie Francine Ryan, 61, passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 26th surrounded by her loving children. She was born on January 18,1964 in Liberty, NY to Leonard and Leanore.

Dodie was a loving mother, wife, and friend who touched the lives of everyone she met. She dedicated her life to caring for her children with her recently late husband Thomas. Thomas and Dodie were inseparable up until his passing in 2022. We find comfort in knowing they are together again.

She is survived by her son Steven, her daughter Melissa, her brother Allen, step sister Helen, cousins that were like sisters, great aunts, in-laws, nieces, nephews,  friends & more.

Dodie was known for her unbelievable strength, her kindness, sarcastic humor, beauty, and exceptional role as a mother. She had a gift for caring for others and found joy in a freshly lit candle in a clean home, bike rides, watching the Yankees, her kitty cats, coffee, blooming flowers, and spending time with her kids. She loved and was like a grandmother to all of the little kids in her life, whom referred to her as "nummies."

Dodie will be deeply missed but will forever remain in our hearts. Her spirit will live on through the love she shared and the lives she touched.
