Donna Foy, 61, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, May 19, 2025 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. Donna was a devoted Wife, mother, and Mamaw. She was a fervent animal lover donning the nickname, Elly May, as a young girl. She was beloved by all who met her as she embodied the love of God in a unique way. She could always be found bragging on her kids and grandkids, rocking a Snoopy outfit, searching for a great thrift find, or doting a Dr. Pepper. She was a dedicated educator contributing to various departments throughout her 25+ years with the Onslow County School system. She was a lifelong learner as she gained multiple degrees from various schools throughout the state and country. Her legacy will continue to live on through the many lives she touched through every facet of her life. Whether it was her bright smile, way of love, laughter, and learning throughout her beautiful life, Mrs. Donna will forever be remembered as a shining light for Christ.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025 at 7:00pm at Community Christian Church with Pastor Daniel Davenport officiating.  Her family will receive family and friends on Friday from 5:00pm until 7:00 pm.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years; Chris Foy, her children; Jacob Foy (Haley) of Richlands, Stephen Foy (Beth) of Windermere, FL. And Rachel Dumalo (Robyn) of Wilmington. Her Grandchildren; Elaina, Penelope and Sophia.  Sister; Tracy Tyndall of Beulaville and Brother; Jeffery Thompson (Deborah) of Clinton.
