Cedar Point - Doris Rouse, 88, died at Carteret General Hospital Saturday January 10, 2015. A memorial service is scheduled Tuesday January 13, 2015 at 11:00AM at First Baptist Church in Swansboro, NC where she served as a member. Officiating will be Dr. Larry Harper.
Mrs. Rouse is preceded in death by one son, George "Ray" Rouse III; her parents, Ivah Winfield Haskett and Ruth Garner Haskett; four brothers, Vaughno Haskett, Quinton Haskett, Eugene Haskett, Junius Haskett; one sister, Oleta Garner.
Mrs. Rouse is survived by Mr. George Rouse Jr., her husband of 65 years; one son, John Rouse and wife Debbi of Hubert; two daughters, Annie Ruth Rouse of Maxton, NC, Sarah H. Rouse of Hickory, NC; one sister, Faye Green of Newport, NC; her grandchildren, Katie McGee, Mary Elizabeth Auton, Jason Rouse and wife Jen, Patrick Auton, Josh Ray, Cliff Ray and wife Holly, Matt Ray and wife Jenny, great-grand-children; Faith McGee, Sophia Ray, Anderson Ray, Kennedy Ray;
A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from 10:00-11:00AM at First Baptist Church of Swansboro, NC.
