Dutchie Neal King
May 26, 1966 – July 22, 2026
Dutchie Neal King, 60, of Haws Run, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.
He was born on May 26, 1966, to the late Cecil and Joyce King. A devoted and loving son, Dutchie cared for both his parents. He attended Dixon High School where he graduated in 1984, and he was a member of Pineland Presbyterian Church. Dutchie was a friend to all who knew him.
Dutchie spent 42 years working at Southern Auto Parts. He was the “go to” person for any who needed to find parts for their vehicles. You would regularly find him giving expertise to customers with one phone to his ear, another on his shoulder, and sometimes a phone in each pocket! His colleagues there were like family to him, and he cared for them deeply. His playful spirit and kind demeanor will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
With a passion for racing, cars, and motorcycles, Dutchie also enjoyed trips to the beach, White Lake, and the mountains. He treasured time with his family and found joy in the simple things. Dutchie’s warm smile and friendly nature made everyone feel welcome, and he was always willing to lend a helping hand to all who needed him. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
Dutchie is survived by his wife of eighteen years, Crystal King; his aunts, Lennie Rackley (Frank) and Mary Patterson; and many cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will cherish his memory.
The family will receive friends on Saturday July 25, 2026, from 12:00 P.M. - 1:45 P.M. at Pineland Presbyterian Church, 205 King Rd., Jacksonville, NC 28540. A funeral service will follow in the sanctuary at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Amanda Rackley and Rev. Dr. Bobby Rackley officiating.
