Earnest "Ernie" Withrow, Jr., 68, of Holly Ridge died April 4, 2010 at Davis Health Care Center.

He retired from the USAF and was a member of the Haws Run Primitive Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held 2:00PM Wednesday at Haws Run Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Arnold Padgett and Elder David Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at the Padgett Family Cemetery with military honors.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lavanna Withrow of Holly Ridge; three sons, David Withrow of Tampa, FL; William Withrow of Tampa, FL; James Withrow of Sneads Ferry; four grandchildren and one great grandson.
