Edmon "Ray" Crockett's Obituary
Jacksonville – Edmon “Ray” Crockett, 83, passed away on September 18, 2026, at his son’s residence in Kill Devil Hill. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville. Burial with military honors will immediately follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
Edmon was born on April 18, 1943, in Lexington, Kentucky to the late Edmond Crockett and Myrtle Floyd Crockett. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Roberta “Bobbie” Crockett.
Edmon faithfully and honorable served in the United States Marine Corps for 29 years.
He is survived by his son, Chris Crockett (Mere) and grandchildren, Coco and Malia.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:00 PM, at the funeral home.
