Edna Harris Phillips Pierce, 88, of Holly Ridge, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at her home.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 16th, 2025, at Blake's Chapel in Hampstead. Burial will immediately follow the funeral service at Blake's Chapel Cemetery.

Edna was born on October 11, 1936 in New Bern, North Carolina to the late Harry Phillips and Nellie Gray Phillips. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Pierce; grandson, Kevin Pierce; and her brother, Harry Phillips, Jr.

She is survived by her sons; Robert Pierce, Larry Pierce (Brandy), and Philip Pierce (Wendy); grandchildren, Steven Pierce, Kenny Pierce, Carl Pierce, Justin Pierce and Nicole; and her many loving great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Flowers are welcome, however family requests cemetery arrangements.
