RICHLANDS  -  Elaine Stroud Barbee, 78, passed away peacefully Friday, March 7, 2025, at Onslow Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be held at 5:00 PM on Monday, March 10, 2025, at Jones Funeral Home, Richlands Chapel with Pastor Gene Gosney officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Mrs. Barbee was born on July 14,1946 in Lenior County, North Carolina to the late Allen Stroud and Elizabeth Smith Stroud. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Eddie Mozingo.

Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Craig Barbee of the home; her daughter, LuAnn Lane (John) of Seven Springs; her granddaughters; Jessica Barnes (Garrett) of Goldsboro, Krystal Tucker (Roger) of Dover and Stacy Bardin (Travis) of Wilson. Her great grandchildren, Ana, Hunter, Drake, Mason, Piper, Maddox, Shannon and Saylor.
