Elizabeth Hill Horne, 86, of Richlands, passed away on Tuesday, February 3 rd , 2026, at Carolina East Medical Center in New Bern. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Richlands with Reverends Jimmy Horne, Brandon Horne and Mike Eldred officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held privately.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Dora Hill; and her siblings, Noah Hill, Rachie Hill, Frank Hill, Celia McNeil, and Carolyn Smith.

She is survived by her husband of the home, Ranzer Horne; and her children, Michael Horne (Donna) of Richlands, Ranzer Mark Horne of Newport, NC, and Cathy Horne Harvey (Lee) of Richlands; her six grandchildren: Annette Mobley (Scott), Beverly Quinn (Daniel), Brandon Horne (Andrea), Rebecca Horne, Reece Horne and Ivy Horne; five great-grandchildren: Logan Mobley, Gavin Quinn, Braxton Quinn, Brody Horne, and Grace Horne; and many nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her dearly,
