HUBERT  -  Ella Mae Hewitt Pittman, 93, of Hubert, peacefully passed away Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home, Swansboro Chapel with Pastor James Stephens officiating. Burial will follow at Queens Creek Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Pittman was a homemaker and she was a life-long member of Queens Creek Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Alvin Pittman, Sr., son; Larry Dean Pittman, grandson; Adam H. Pittman, granddaughter; Mittie Humphrey, parents; Allen and Mittie Powell Hewitt, Brothers; Sam P. Hewitt, Gene A. Hewitt and daughter in law; Martha B. Pittman.

Survivors include her sons, Alvin L. Pittman, Jr. and Allen Hardy Pittman, both of Hubert, her daughter; June Pittman Morton (Steve), seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary U. Boney and Judy H. Golda, both of Hubert; her brothers, Pete B. Hewitt of Huntsville, AL and Dale E. Hewitt of Hubert; and her daughter-in-law, Pam Pittman of Oregon.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Monday evening, April 21, 2025 at the funeral home.
