Emerald Isle- Elliott Teddy Marlowe, 73, passed away at his home on Thursday, October 9, 2025, with his family by his side. He was born April 9, 1952, in Marion, SC a son of the late Frank and Kate Drew Marlowe.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Teddy worked for CP&L as a Right of Way Agent; but his greatest joy was working for Island Harbor Marina in Emerald Isle.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Cynthia Staples of the home; daughter, Cayce Blackmon (Keith) of Marion, SC; grandchildren, Jamison and Kaleigh; brother, Frankie Marlowe (Sherry) and sister, Frances Altman (Glenn) both of Marion, SC; niece and nephew, Iris and Jason; and many close friends that he considered family.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Grayson Blackmon.
