JACKSONVILLE, NC

Eugene Joel Mirra, GySgt. USMC Ret., 60 died Tuesday, January 15, 2019 in Onslow County.

A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Infant of Prague Catholic Church with Father Greg officiating and

burial will follow at Coastal Carolina State Cemetery with Military Honors.

Joel was born in Plainville, NJ and served his country Honorably with the United States Marine Corps.

He is survived by a daughter, Melissa Mirra of Jacksonville; two sons, Jonathan Mirra (Samatha) and Nicolas Mirra both of Jacksonville; parents, Eugene and Helen Mirra of Egg Harbor, NJ; one brother, Jeffrey Mirra ( Dawn) of South Amboy, NJ; one sister, Tammy Feldman, of Old Bridge, NJ and five grandchildren.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
