Evelyn Huffman Amabile, 91, of Jacksonville, died at her home Wednesday, March 12, 2014.

Mrs. Amabile was born in Richlands to the late Albert J. Huffman and Mattie Cavanaugh Huffman, and was also preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Beth Amabile.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Gum Branch Road, Jacksonville with the Rev. Daniel Flynn and the Rev. Charles Stevens officiating. Interment will follow at Onslow Memorial Park, Jacksonville.

Surviving her husband, Arsenio "George" Amabile Sr. of the home; her daughter, Betty Moore and her husband Mark Moore of Lillington; and her son, Angelo Amabile and his wife Michelle Amabile of York, S.C. Also surviving are her sister, Mattie Wellert of Pueblo, Colo., and AJ Huffman of Richlands; two grandchildren, Antonio "Tony" Amabile of Jacksonville and Adriano Amabile and his wife Katie Amabile of York, S.C.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
