Obituary

HUBERT - Faye Outlaw, 74, of Hubert, went home to be with the Lord Monday, August 05, 2013 around 2:00 AM with family close by. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday at First Free Will Baptist Church in Jacksonville with Rev. Steve Petty and Dr. Rev. Rudolph Outlaw officiating. Burial will follow at Seaside Memorial Park in Swansboro.
Mrs. Outlaw worked as a secretary for the Jacksonville City engineering department a number of years. She was also secretary for First Free Will Baptist Church of Hubert, where she played the piano and organ for 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lee Littleton and one son, Michael R. Outlaw.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Dr. Rev. Rudolph Outlaw of the home; mother, Lucy Wells of Swansboro; one daughter, Debbie Whitley and her husband, Ron of Jacksonville; two sons, Donnie Outlaw and Jonathan Outlaw, both of Swansboro; one sister, Mary Ann Atkisson and her husband, Jack of Swansboro; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon, prior to the service, from 12 - 2 at the church.
Faye was loved by all that knew her. She will be greatly missed. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday at First Free Will Baptist Church in Jacksonville with Rev. Andy Gray and Dr. Rev. Rudolph Outlaw officiating. Burial will follow at Seaside Memorial Park in Swansboro.

The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon, prior to the service, from 12 – 2 at the church.
