In Loving Memory of Frank John Lamparelli
March 2, 1946 – July 30, 2025
Frank John Lamparelli, 79, of Richlands, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2025, at Onslow Memorial Hospital. A celebration of his life will be scheduled at a later date.
Born on March 2, 1946, in Jersey City, New Jersey, Frank was the beloved son of the late Frank and Victoria Lamparelli. He was also preceded in death by his sisters Angela, Maryann, and Victoria, and his brothers Jack and Rich.
A lifelong mechanic, Frank was a man who found purpose in helping others especially when it came to their cars. Whether it was family, friends, or someone he just met, Frank never hesitated to lend a hand. He was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back, and his generosity knew no bounds.
Frank's greatest joy came from his family. He was a loving father, a devoted grandfather, and a constant presence in the lives of those he cared about. He was always there taking his grandkids to school, attending their sporting events, or showing up to every family gathering with a joke, a smile, and a helping hand. Mornings weren't complete without his coffee, and afternoons were filled with stories from his grandchildren about their day moments he cherished deeply.
He was also known for his love of the lottery, often found at the local gas station trying his luck on his favorite machine with his lucky numbers. But more than anything, Frank loved being "Oompa" to his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren his pride and joy.
Frank is survived by his sister, Joanne Alberty; his daughters, Tanya Maldonado of Richlands, Angela, and Victoria; his sons, Frankie and wife Dina, Anthony and wife Lenore, and Rocky and wife Renee all of New Jersey; and his former wife, Rosemary. He leaves behind grandchildren: Jovanni, Jayden, Julian, and Jaxson of Richlands; Rocco, Sierra, Isabella, Sophia, Santino, Donte, Mia, Cecilia, Raquel, Phillip, Frankie, Nicolina, Gianna, Nico, Angelo, Alyssa, Brianna, Anthony, Jessica, Mikayla and many great-grandchildren, all of whom adored their Oompa.
Frank's legacy is one of love, laughter, and loyalty. He will be remembered not only for the way he lived but for the countless lives he touched. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
