Jacksonville, NC - Franklin Joseph Davidson, 74, died Monday, January 20, 2014 at Carolina East Hospice Care Center in Kenansville.
A retired Gunnery Sergeant with the U.S. Marine Corps, he was a native of Bradley Beach, NJ. He lived in Honolulu for 35 years.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Ann Bannerman Davidson of the home; two daughters, Sally Ellen Parker of Beaverton, OR and Suzanne Kaui DiFiore of Winter Garden, FL; three brothers, Irwin Davidson of Pompano Beach, FL, George Davidson of Hamilton, NJ and John Davidson of Deridder, LA; three sisters, Evelyn Parker of Birmingham, AL, Catherine Mulvihill of Pompano Beach, FL and Helen Davidson of Neptune, NJ; four grandchildren. His brother, Burton Davidson precedes him in death.
A private service will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
