Swansboro-Frederick Charles Kane, Sr., 96 of Swansboro, died at his residence on Thursday, December 12, 2019. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mildred Catholic Church with the Father Don Baribeau officiating. Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Seaside Memorial Park.

Mr. Kane serviced in the US Army during WWII and was a recipient of the Bronze Star and achieved the rank of First Sergeant.

Mr. Kane was preceed in death by his parents, Frederick and Mae Reilly Kane; and his brother, Edward Kane.

Mr. Kane is survived by his wife, Hanora McCurdy Kane of the home; sons, Fredrick Charles Kane, Jr. and his wife Melissa of Hubert, Richard Kane and his wife Raffelina of Delray Beach, Fl and Peter Kane of Swansboro; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mildred's Catholic Church in memory of Mr. Kane, to 616 E. Sabiston Drive, Swansboro, NC 28584.
