HAMPSTEAD - Garland Edwin "Buddy" Yopp, Sr., 84, of Hampstead, North Carolina passed away on May 18, 2025, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare in Wilmington. Memorial services will be held Friday, May 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home, Holly Ridge.

Buddy was born on July 10, 1940, in Onslow County, North Carolina to the late Garland Yopp and Rosaleen Canady Yopp. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Gail Yopp and sister, Geraldine Edens.

He is survived by his children, Garland Yopp, Jr. (Rebecca) of Hampstead, David Yopp (Virginia) of Beaufort, Jason Yopp of Hampstead and Brooke Yopp of Hampstead; grandchildren, Lucy, Garland, David, Jr., and Brylee; brother, Ronnie Yopp (Wilma) of Sneads Ferry and several extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.
