Gene affectionately was known as "Little Gene." He was a man who brought laughter to every room he entered and was known for his beautiful smile and his big heart. He never met a stranger and when he did they became friends. That was just Gene and his love of people.

Gene's greatest joy in life was his son, Nicholas. The two shared a special bond that was clear to everyone who knew them. Whether it was a moment of fun-like cake in his face by Nicholas--or his dedication in his supporting his son in basketball, but most importantly Nicholas's future, Gene's love for his son was his driving force

In honor of Gene's memory and his dreams for his son, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to an Educational fund for Nicholas to help support his upcoming college journey.

There may be a celebration of life in the future.
