Richlands – George Keith Baker SR., (67), of Beulaville, North Carolina passed away unexpectedly on May 1, 2026, at ECU Medical Center. His funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Christian Life Fellowship Church in Jacksonville. Visitation will be held the night prior on May 13, 2026 from 6-8pm at Jones Funeral Home of Richlands.

Keith was born on March 31, 1959, at Onslow Memorial Hospital, to the late Evelyn "Faye" Tyndall, and George Dewey Baker. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife Gloria Jean Parker-Baker and grandson Alexander "Alex" Jacob Clukey.

In life Keith was a proud and loving husband, brother, Daddy, and Papa, who had a passion for hunting, fishing, farming, and driving his ol’ truck just a little too fast; always on the move, and always off helping someone with something.

He is survived by his children, Wendy Clukey (husband John), George Keith Baker "Jr" (wife April); grandchildren, Andrew Clukey, Addison Bletzacker, Abram Clukey, Evelyn Baker; his siblings Linda Jones, Glenn Baker; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Keith will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family will be accepting donations to help cover burial costs.
