Geraldine "Geri" Korelc Tkach passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025.

She is survived by her children: Joseph Tkach, George Tkach, Janet Tkach Bowen, and John (Ruth) Tkach. Her grandchildren, Stuart Bowen, Inda (Andy) Moore, James Tkach, Andrew Tkach, Anthony (Kady) Tkach, Sara (Albert) Meraz, John F (Kristen) Tkach. Eight great-grandchildren, and various nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband George A. Tkach Ret USMC, her parents John and Mary Korelc, brothers John "Jack" Korelc and Norman Korelc.

Geri loved her church, the Infant of Prague. She worked for their school, volunteered in their thrift shop and participated in their Calendar parties. Her tables always sold out, as she was a wonderful cook.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Infant of Prague Church.

A celebration of Geri's life will begin on Tuesday, January 28th at 11:00 am with a memorial visitation at Jones Funeral Home, 303 Chaney Ave until the 1:00 pm Mass at IOP, 210 Marine Blvd. Interment will be held at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery at 2:00 pm.

The family invites everyone to join them, after the service, for a time of gathering in the IOP fellowship hall.
