Germaine Norma Roulx Miller, 78, of Jacksonville NC, passed away on Wednesday, June 10th, surrounded by family and friends at Onslow Memorial Hospital.
Germaine was born on October 18, 1947, to Oscar and Mabel Roulx. She proudly served her country in the United States Marine Corps for two years before dedicating much of her life to federal civil service, working as a stock clerk at the local Camp Lejeune Commissary.
In her free time, Germaine found great joy in crafting and creating thoughtful, handmade items for her family and for an occasional craft show. She also enjoyed spending evenings with loved ones at bingo events where her warmth and laughter were always present.
Germaine leaves behind her loving husband, MGySgt David Dwain Miller (USMC/RET) of Jacksonville, her 3 daughters, Judy Cooper (Jack) of Hubert, Jodi Beier of Swansboro, and Tammy Leshko (Troy) of Apex, along with her one son David Dwain Miller Jr (Jackie) of Hubert, 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild, her brother Norman Roulx of Warren, New Hampshire, and two sisters, Sandra Mackey of Manchester, New Hampshire and Dawn Roulx, of Warren, New Hampshire , that will all miss her dearly.
Germaine was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Mabel Roulx and sisters Marie (Floret) Smith, and Sandra Mary Roulx.
Her life was a testament to dedication, resilience, and love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
