SWANSBORO  -  Hanora Louise Kane, 97, of Swansboro, passed away Tuesday, October 29,2024 at her home. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at St. Mildred Catholic Church with Rev. Dave Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.

Mrs. Kane was born March 31,1927 in Pleasantville, NY to the late Edward and Hannah Brosnan McCurdy.

She was a loving and supportive wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who always enjoyed the time she spent with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick C. Kane, Sr. and her sister, Margarite McCurdy.

Survivors include her three sons, Frederick C. Kane, Jr. (Melissa) of Hubert, Richard E. Kane (Raffelina) of NY, and Peter Kane of Swansboro; grandchildren, Natalie, Stephen, Kevin, and Lucas; and great granddaughter, Adrianna.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
