JACKSONVILLE - Harold Stanley Marshburn, 88, of Jacksonville, died Friday, July 31, 2026 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 7, 2026 at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel with Rev. Mickey Cox officiating. Burial will follow at the Davis Family Cemetery in Richlands.

Mr. Marshburn was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Harold Marshburn; and five sisters, Ruby Jaroscewicz, Reba English, Mary Jane Edwards, Ruth Carrier and Eula Mae Davis.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Davis Marshburn of the home; his son, Jody Marshburn and his wife, Rose of Jacksonville; one granddaughter, Haley Marshburn and Ross Gongaware; and two sisters, Janice Summerville and Shirley Richardson, both of Jacksonville.

The family will receive friends Friday morning prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
