Hector Dorantes-Alvarez Jr. (54) was born in Mexico City, Mexico on July 17, 1970, to Hector Dorantes-Diaz Sr. and Guadalupe Dorantes-Alvarez. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville.

Hector was a proud and loving father, always putting his family above all else.

He also owned and operated his family business, Hector Carpet Cleaning, with more than 16 years of experience.

Hector is survived by his children; Natalie Dorantes, and Alexis Dorantes; siblings, Graciela Dorantes-Alvarez, Angel Dorantes-Alvarez, and Maria Helena Dorantes Alvarez.; and parents, Hector Dorantes-Diaz Sr., and Guadalupe Alvarez Garcia.
