Helen was born on Mwokilloa Atoll in Kolonia, Pohnpei, FSM on October 24, 1955. She moved to Guam where she met and married Steve Eavenson while assigned at Marine Barracks Guam before coming to the States.  She not only raised a beautiful family but found the Joy in Traveling to see more of what the world had to offer.  She was a true Island Woman to her core she was strong, non-fearing with a heart worth a thousand suns.  Helen gave everything to those she loved; she will be remembered by her laughter and jokes and was always there for her Husband Steven D. Eavenson, Children Babara L. Oviedo and Scott B. Eavenson, Grand Children Bryan C. Pitts (Deceased), Brittany N. Diaz, Austin C. Pitts, Kyle J.  Eavenson, Anastasia M. Eavenson and Great Grand Children Damian B. Diaz, Liam R. Diaz and Miabella M. Diaz.
