Jacob Owen Smith, (18), of Jacksonville, North Carolina became his family's guardian angel on July 22, 2025. To know Jacob was to be impacted by his kindness, character and tenacity for life.

He was well loved and cherished by Everett Smith "Pops", Sandra Mullis "Mom", Eric Mullis "Bonus Dad", his four beautiful sisters, Mari "Momma", Kaitlyn "KB", her husband, AJ, Baby Riley, Natalie "Nat", Piper Claire, and his loving grandma.

As a graduate of Southwest High School, Jacob embodied the true meaning and spirit of a Stallion. He lived and breathed sports, an undeniable truth when he took to the football or baseball field. Friday night lights shined bright for #44. He was sure to give his all on the field, supported by his biggest and "LOUDEST" family.

Please join us to celebrate and honor Jacob on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at the Church of Onslow, located at 1351 Pony Farm Rd., Jacksonville, NC, 28540. Visitation will be held 11:00am-1:00pm followed by a Celebration of Life from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
