Swansboro- James "Jim" Edward Norman, 86, passed away at his home with his family by his side on Monday, April 14,2025. He was born August 16,1938.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, May 9,2025 at 11:00am in the chapel of Jones Funeral Home-Swansboro with Father Chris Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Seaside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Jim was an avid fisherman and loved to spend time with his family and friends on and around the water. He was the owner and operator of several bicycle shops.

He is survived by son, James "Jim" Norman (Mary) of Swansboro; grandson, James Norman; and a sister, Rita Paul of OH.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Norman and two sons, John and Joseph Norman.
