Hubert- James McPhee, 68, peacefully transitioned to his next adventure on Wednesday, August 4,2021. James "Jim" was born December 8,1952 in Glasgow, Scotland a son to the late Hugh and Margaret "Rita" Quinn McPhee.

Jim built a career in the hospitality industry and was well known for providing comfort and connection to everyone who crossed his path.  His favorite times were spent with family and friends, and neighbors.  He passionately believed all should have a home.  In this spirit, please consider a donation in Jim's name to Hope Mission Ministries at https://hopemissionnc.org/donate/

Jim is survived by his loving wife of seventeen years, Carol Greer of Hubert, NC; daughters, Kelly McPhee of Baltimore, MD and Jennifer McPhee and her fiancé, Brian Haynes of St. Augustine, FL; grandchildren, Evan McPhee and Nymeria Sellers; stepdaughter, Erica Viader (Javier) of Hubert; stepson, Stephen Galvin (Erin) of Chesapeake Beach, MD; step granddaughters, Kembree, Kaysen, Gemma, Ivy, and Amber.

Jim was preceded in death by his brothers, Hugh and Harvey McPhee.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.  In the meantime, please honor Jim's memory by telling a great joke, cooking for loved ones and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys.
