JACKSONVILLE  -  Janice Gould Williams, 84, of Jacksonville, died Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center in Wilmington.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 22, 2024 at Lighthouse Baptist Church with Rev. Phil Shepard officiating.  Burial will follow at the Brinson Family Cemetery on Ben Williams Road.

Mrs. Williams was a daughter of the late Robert L. and Bernice Shepard Gould.  She was a former employee of both the Jacksonville Police Department and Onslow County Sheriff's Department.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Wade F. Williams of the home; her daughter, Tonya Rochelle of Jacksonville; three grandsons, Brandon Raynor, Henry Parker and Aaron Parker; two great-grandchildren; and two nephews.

The family will receive friends Monday afternoon, prior to the service, from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at the church and at other times at 3157 Burgaw Hwy, Jacksonville, NC.
