Jeanne Petteway Reed, 70, died Thursday, May 02, 2013 at Onslow Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, 2:30pm at the home, 138 Elizabeth Street, Jacksonville.
Mrs. Reed worked for 38 years at the Marine Corps Exchange aboard Camp Lejeune and Montford Point.
Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Jack W. "Jackie" Reed of the home; two sons, Ricky Beyersdorf of Carolina Beach and William "Billy" Beyersdorf of Jacksonville; daughter, Sandy Beyersdorf of Oakland, CA; brother, John P. Meehleder of Saginaw, MI and six grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family.
