HOLLY RIDGE  -  Jennifer Patches Smith, 55, of Holly Ridge, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025 after battling cancer.  Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home, Holly Ridge Chapel.  Burial will be held privately at the Padgett Family Cemetery in Maple Hill.

Ms. Smith was preceded in death by her parents, James Franklin Smith and Helen Rochelle Smith; and her brother, Howard Keith Smith.

She is survived by her brother, Roger K. Smith and his wife, Flora; her aunt, Wanda L. Rochelle of the home, who was her caregiver since the passing of her mom in 2013; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends Wednesday morning, prior to the service beginning at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
