JACKSONVILLE - Jerry Allen Ramsey, 78, a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, North Carolina, was called from his earthly home and labors to his heavenly home on June 22, 2025. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Kellum Baptist Church. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:30 to 12:30.

Jerry was born on January 14, 1947, in Onslow County, North Carolina to the late Willie Ramsey and Lena Smith Ramsey. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sons, Tony and Jason Ramsey and brothers, Franklin, Kurney, W.D, and Harry Ramsey.

Jerry was a plumber by trade for over fifty years and built his own successful plumbing company, Affordable Plumbing, that he owned and operated for over 30 years. He was always on call no matter what time or day. He enjoyed antique cars and NASCAR. He was a fixture in the Kellum Community and will be greatly missed by all.

He is survived by his wife, Carmelita "Millie" Ramsey; son, Wayne Allen Ramsey (Judy); grandson, Jerry Lee Ramsey (Brandi); great-grandchild, Kaleb; sister, Elenaor R. Marshburn; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends.
