MAPLE HILL  -  Jethro Dixon, 76, of Maple Hill, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 6, 2025, after battling an illness he had endured for several months.  He leaves behind a beloved family and many, many friends and associates.

He is survived by his wife, Shelby Padgett Dixon, a sister Angela Harvey, one (1) grandchild, four (4) great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral and visitation will be at Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville, North Carolina.  Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and the funeral service will be on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 2:00 PM  at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel with Pastor David Love officiating.  Burial will follow at the Padgett Family Cemetery in Maple Hill.
