Cedar Point- Jewel Irene Silva, 103, passed away at her home on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, with her husband by her side. She was born August 22, 1922, in Wilson, AR, a daughter of the late Joseph C. and Winnie V. Townsend Williams.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Jewel was a loving daughter, sister, wife and friend who loved to spend time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving and supportive husband, Lionel "Lee" Manuel Silva of the home; nephews, Jessie (Bonnie) and Marcus Chambers (Angela) of Columbus, GA and Joseph Chambers (Bobby) of Seale, AL; and niece, Roberta Gray of Barefoot Bay, FL.

She was preceded in death by sisters, Carry May, Louise, Mamie Joe, Eunice, Lois, and Meldonna; and brothers, Rube, Reese, Emory G., T.J., and Charles Edward.
