JACKSONVILLE - Jewell Patricia Adams, 77, of Jacksonville, passed away Monday, November 4, 2024. She was born in Columbia, SC on August 10, 1947.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Adams; and mother and father, Jewell and Kenneth Scott.

She is survived by her only child, Tina Stevens and her husband James Stevens of Mayfield, KY; three granddaughters, Courtney Jewell Stevens of Puryear, TN, Candice and Cory Mathis of Paris, TN, and Ashlynn Stevens of Murray, KY; one great grandchild Ruthie Faye Mathis of Paris, TN; brother Donald Scott of Jacksonville, NC; and half-sister Kimberly Irwin of Currie, NC

Jewell was a cosmetologist, a substitute teacher, and had almost accomplished her dream of becoming a nurse. She was so loved by her family and will be deeply missed.

Services for Jewell will be private.
