Hubert- Jill Lynette Christie, 59, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, August 15, 2025. She was born on September 9, 1965, in Sullivan, IN, the beloved daughter of the late William and Sheila Snyder.

The family will welcome friends on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 6-8p.m. at Jones Funeral home-Swansboro.

Jill devoted many years of her life as a travel agent in Jacksonville, where she took great pride in helping families and individuals create unforgettable journeys. She had a gift for making each trip feel special, but her greatest joy in life was not found in distant places, it was found at home, surrounded by her family and friends. Jill's warmth, kindness, and unwavering love touched everyone who knew her.

She leaves behind her daughter, Abbey Mason and husband Tommy of Hubert; her son, Matthew Christie of Richlands; and her cherished grandchildren, Jariah, Kamdyn, Jaxyn, Jillian and Everleigh, who were the light of her life. Jill is also survived by her siblings, Bradley Snyder of Robinson, IL, Jesse Snyder of Robinson, IL, and Amanda Davis of Jacksonville; along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will forever hold her memory close.

Though Jill's passing leaves an ache in the hearts of those who loved her, her legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will continue to shine brightly through the lives she touched.
