Cedar Point- Jimmy Roland Williams, 78, passed away at his home on Tuesday, June 10,2025 with his family by his side. He was born July 9,1946 in Fayetteville, NC a son of the late Issac Roland and Helen Rhue Williams.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, June 19,2025 in the chapel of Jones Funeral Home-Swansboro with Rev. Eddie Wood officiating.

Jimmy was a dispatcher and P&D driver for a long-haul trucking company, he enjoyed his time on the open road, but his greatest enjoyment was being surrounded by his family and friends. After his career in the trucking business he attended and graduated Campbell University.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie Pierce Williams of the home; children: Jimmy Dean Williams (Pam) of Clayton, Robert Harris Williams (Meagan) of Fayetteville, and Michelle Lee Monroe (Robert) of Cedar Point; grandchildren: Kasey, Katlyn, Buck, Karsin, Tanner, and Pierce; and a great grandchild, Beckett.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry and Bennie Williams.
